By purchasing a ticket, registering for, or attending Rocky Mount Derby Day, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not purchase a ticket or attend the event.

Event Details and Changes

Rocky Mount Derby Day is scheduled for May 2, 2026 at The Early Inn, 50 Floyd Avenue, Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151.

Event organizers reserve the right to modify the venue layout, schedule, entertainment lineup, programming, bourbon tasting offerings, contests, or related activities as necessary. Organizers also reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances, safety concerns, government orders, or other conditions beyond their control.

Tickets, Refunds, and Resale

Final Sale

All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued unless the event is canceled and not rescheduled.

Rain or Shine

Rocky Mount Derby Day will take place rain or shine. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.

Resale

Tickets may not be resold for profit. Unauthorized resale, duplication, or distribution of tickets will result in cancellation without compensation. Entry may be denied to holders of invalid or duplicated tickets.

Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver

Assumption of Risk

Attendee understands that participation in a live event involving music, dancing, food and beverage service, bourbon tasting, and a cigar bar includes inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to, physical injury, illness, allergic reactions, property damage, and interactions with other guests. Attendee voluntarily assumes all such risks associated with attendance.

Release of Liability

By attending Rocky Mount Derby Day, you release and hold harmless the event organizers, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, The Early Inn, and their respective owners, employees, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to your attendance, whether based on negligence or otherwise.

Safety, Security, and Prohibited Items

Searches

For the safety of all guests, attendees may be subject to security screening or bag inspection upon entry.

Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited:

Weapons of any kind
Illegal substances
Outside alcohol or food
Glass containers not provided by event vendors
Pets, except lawful service animals

Organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any individual who violates event rules, appears intoxicated beyond safe limits, or behaves in a disruptive or unsafe manner. No refund will be provided in such cases.

Photo and Video Release

By attending Rocky Mount Derby Day, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded by the event organizers or their partners. You grant the organizers the right to use your image, likeness, voice, or appearance in promotional materials, advertising, social media, and on http://RockyMountDerbyDay.com or affiliated platforms without compensation.

Force Majeure

The organizers shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations if such failure results from circumstances beyond their reasonable control. These include fire, flood, severe weather, natural disaster, government action, public health emergency, labor dispute, or other similar events.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes arising from or related to Rocky Mount Derby Day shall be resolved exclusively in the appropriate courts located in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
